Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a sponsored search form is sent to the outside provider operating that result service. Our servers do not keep a copy of those queries. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may create ordinary logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. Aggregate use helps maintain the service and understand page traffic. Cookies or comparable tools can support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
That limited information supports operation, troubleshooting, aggregate traffic counts, and updates to the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Butler County and Ohio portals, library collections, archives, and sponsored search tools. Information submitted after leaving this service is controlled by the receiving provider’s policy, including the provider that supplies sponsored results.
Who Can Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server information for the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. A disclosure is also possible when valid legal process requires it.
Protecting Information
The service uses an encrypted connection, and technical logs are kept only for the operational purposes described here. No user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles are maintained by this service.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted personal information so it can be removed.
Your Information Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or removal of personal information this service keeps. Because we keep little, the request normally involves the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Ohio research did not identify a universal consumer-data deletion right for public records. Record-specific options include Safe at Home, ORC 149.45 internet-redaction procedures, voter confidentiality, and a direct request to the original government custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Changes to this policy are posted here. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
